For an exact price quote, please send me an email. My rates will vary according to language pair, deadline, format of the file and complexity of the text.

Specialised translations will always cost more than the translation of general texts, because there is more research involved in producing a high-quality translation if dealing with a specialised text. Terminology must be looked up, checked in context and translated as correctly as possible, depending on the target audience of your translation.

My quality assurance process includes several stages:

  • Checking the target text against the source text in order to ensure the integrity of the text and terminological consistency.
  • Using a spell checker.
  • Rereading the text in order to check its coherence, style, grammar, spelling and punctuation.
  • Running a final check using software such as Xbench or SDL Trados QA/MemoQ checkers.

All translations will comply with the linguistic standards in force.

Because you will always know exactly who is handling your text. You will know my precise qualification, my knowledge level, my style and expertise. Everything is up front and you will be in control. This will increase the confidentiality of your information and will also reduce costs because there are no middle men.

Please visit my Proz.com profile for testimonials from my current and previous clients. I can also provide reference letters upon request.

I own full SDL Trados, MemoQ and CafeTran licenses. I have used TagEditor, Passolo, Idiom WorldServer Desktop Workbench and Across in the past. I can also learn to use other software if necessary.

I have compiled a sample portfolio I can email to you, so feel free to ask.

Please drop me a line, I will get back to you within 24 hours.
